And then it rained

Heavy rain, steady rain, meaningful rain. And it looks like it will rain tonight and into tomorrow morning.

Time to soak into the dry land and then some more.

My happiness was blunted by smacking myself in the face with my car door. My glasses followed by my cheek bone took the brunt.

Amazingly my glasses are undamaged. My head hurts, my face aches, and a cold pack is my friend. Without my glasses it would have been a very different outcome.

Today's gratitude: For frozen stuff and a tea-towel.
