Flower Friday

My garden is coming to life. These primroses are an unusual colour and a bit insect damaged but still have a charm. They are a few years old and it amazes me to see them, even after our tough summer last year. 

I have put in a collage of some other flowers for my record. Today some coreopsis arrived via mail order so I planted them out. They are common plants in some countries but I haven’t grown them before. I want tough drought tolerant plants these days.
