Durham Sunrise

Durham from the train at sunrise. I was on my way to London on the 6am train from Dunbar, cold and clear in the North East but snowing in the south. The colour in the sky developed towards 8am and I was rewarded with this lovely view, the castle on the left and the cathedral in the centre. The train window was pretty dirty as you can see!

Very Big View.

A cold and wet but enjoyable cycle to the office for work on the little Brompton (I brought it after all) and the off to the pub to meet an old friend. Stuart and I met cycling across Scotland 5 years ago, and it was great to catch up before he goes off to Germany to start a new life and new family. All the best my friend!
