Evening blue

In spring, this buddleia didn't look as if it wanted to continue but it did and the blue colour has brought some cheer to a wet evening.
Had a good lunch with a friend who is moving on to another exciting phase of life.  And I reflected on how little we hear of people making progress in these strange days.  Hunkering down may be the new norm and it may be for some time.  The news informed us that we are to be further restricted and we understand why.  But it is getting harder.
