Harvest

These apples are beautiful this year, the tree having been brought back from a poorly state by pruning and feeding with plenty of stable manure. I have picked over 150 of them, leaving damaged ones for the birds, and there are more to pick.  Unlike the earlier varieties of eating apples they store well and we should have them up to and past the new year.
