Betty's Veranda Rebuild - Day 2

As planned Börje was here at 8 o'clock this morning. I went out to say "Hi" and as he unloaded stuff from his car I went back in to finish my morning cup of tea. A few minutes later I joined him and the windows were already removed from the veranda side wall, the gutter was on the grass and several bits of trim had been stripped away. Wow!
By the end of the day we had reached the stage shown in the main blip. The entire old veranda is away (see extra). We have been into town to buy all the timber, and a few other bits and pieces we need for this project. More ground had been dug away and we have worked out which bits are ground rock and cannot be removed. Börje has a plan for those bits. The first beams are in place and have been roughly levelled. Work restarts at 8 o'clock tomorrow morning.
