Thank you so much for all the hearts for my harvest mice!

We booked a visit to this National Trust property today, and also secured a tour round the house. Fantastic. Almost as good as Waddesdon Manor!! The grounds were past their best (it's that time of year) but still delightful.

Now on our site for two nights. However, no power hookup and our gas heater seems to need an AA battery to function - we don't have one to hand (hundreds at home). We'll be ok, although waking up in the morning might be a tad on the chilly side.
