...the storm

wandered down to the - community garden to survey - the damage the early - winter storm took and was delighted - to find that although - there was indeed a toll - taken, there were also - many plots which suffered only - minor hits to not - only flowers but growing - produce as well - perhaps living on - the north end of the city - was helpful as we didn’t - get hit with nearly - as much snow as had - been forecast for the area - indeed we had a significant - snowfall but not the - dramatic amount i had anticipated

so as i perused the garden - i found many hidden gems - still in very decent shape - for photographing in the coming - days and figured these - sunflowers would do well - in showcasing as survivors - for flowerfriday and a reminder - that we can stand tall in - the midst of surviving for then - it will be...
