Frost Damage (minus 7 C)

No brilliant red, orange and yellow on the Virginia Creeper this fall. As you can see, the hosta isn't happy either. The bergenia is just fine. There will be no bloom on the cimicifuga (see extra)
There has been no frost since Monday night and none in the long term forecast. The high today is 29C and the forecast high for tomorrow is 14 C. What a roller coaster we've been on all year weatherwise. Other things don't bear thinking about.
