Spending spree

This week I noticed that the IKEA desk we bought for the office in our first house in Rugby was starting to fall apart. It has served us well but I decided to look on the local second hand sites. Well, the beauty in the photo popped up at an affordable price just a few miles down the road!

I’m smitten, it’s lovely - a replica rather than a solid wood antique but still a very sturdy bit of furniture that will hopefully last as long as the previous desk!!

While the rearranging and spending was happening, I splashed out on my own all in one printer/copier/scanner that works in WIFi so no more emailing things I need to print to my desktop! The luxury.

Lots of faffy life sorting and decluttering has also gone on so although not much done in the way of fed geverating work, it all needed to be done and has proved to be a very satisfactory Friday - especially as I snuck in a cheeky Hones Under the Hammer!!

This evening we broke fast at an 18th birthday party - several G&Ts, a Cornish Pasty, a slice of chocolate gateaux AND a slice of pavlova. I enjoyed every single mouthful :-D
