Samples and books

Here's the samples that I did at college at the weekend. We were learning how to do distortion techniques and block drafts. It's always good having a play with new techniques and I just need to settle down with the sketchbook and get cracking on with my next project.
The books are mainly library ones for the other part of the course. I've been enjoying looking at textile books in the library this weekend, and have just bought rather a large load of them that hopefully will be of some use.
We made it back home fine and it's nice to be home. I nearly failed in my motherly duties on pancake day, but thankfully gluten and dairy free pancakes are very quick to make and taste just as delicious.
