Mardi Gras!
These pancakes were made at 8am for Calum's breakfast and for our offices. The second lot was made at tea time for after our tea. So 2 batches made, 2 batches eaten. What to give up for Lent? And/or what to take up for Lent? Will need to give it some thought or do I need to make more pancakes! The griddle I use is 35 years old, the recipe is my Grandmother's and is over 90 years old and the spoon I use to drop the pancakes is 101 years old - it is a long tradition in the family of pancake making and one day I will get it right!
