Birthday Boy

DS#1's birthday and so off into the hills for a rustic restaurant today. 
We stopped at the Mazan l'Abbaye, a pretty little village with a stunning ruined abbey before lunch in a ferme auberge. No choice on the menu and less rustic than I'd anticipated. Probably wouldn't have had the snails if there was a choice....
On then to the Cascade Ray :Pic, probably the best waterfall in the Ardeche as can be seen in the background of the image.
Rather a long and tortuous drive home where no-one seemed very interested in dinner or a drink.
