Old Bridge End
Thank you so much for all your kind words and hearts for our lovely Finlay. He seems to have been a popular boy!
So strange not have him greet me this morning when I got up. That will take some getting used to. On a slightly lighter note, we may now have to invest in a door bell as we no longer get notified when someone approaches the front door :-)
A few days ago I blipped a poorly kitten that is being hand reared by our daughter. Well some good news - it is thriving - one eye has recovered enough for kitten to be able to see and the other eye may not need to be removed now (still a bit touch and go though). Even better news - our granddaughter has given it a name - Rosie - and it is going to be staying with them. It is currently terrorising their two dogs, even though it is barely bigger than a tennis ball. We know who is going to be boss….
Blip photo is of an old bridge (or at least one end of it) that used to span the River Wharfe near Tadcaster. The wooden deck and the far side support have long gone - this looks like it has not long to go. We had a long walk this afternoon to try an clear our heads
