Padstow was packed.
Now settling in to what feels like a second home in Cornwall, as we have been coming for so long.
The weather is glorious. Cloudless sky and 21C. Would be nice if this lastedfir a few days.
We had a detour to Padstow. Would you believe we have never been before.
Now I know why!
It was packed. Just managed to get a space in the carpark, and it is a big one.
We did try and social distance, but it was difficult with so many people, so walked out of the harbour side, and on to the hillside, watching the sailing boats in the Camel Estuary.
At least the seagulls were social distancing!
We did however have a very nice lunch at Paul Ainsworth’s Caffé Rojano.
Tomato Bruschetta to start, followed by Ox Cheek Ragu......Lumanche pasta, soft herb dressing, panagratatto.
Recommend by our two granddaughters. They said it was the best Ragu they have ever had, and must say we agree with the,.

Mr C stuck to water as he was driving, but I had a nice glass of Italian Soave Classico. Perfect for a warm day.
The journey down today wasn’t too bad, but a few queues on the A30 where it still goes into two lanes. About time it was dual carriageway right to Penzance.
Never seen so many caravans and motor homes on the road before.
I don’t think we are going to have the quiet Cornwall we are used to!
Carol has already told us to avoid St Ives, and Porthcurno. Even says Porthleven is very busy.
We are going there tomorrow morning so we will have to wait and see.
Still it’s great to be back, and with such beautiful weather too.
