Nuovo camino

We had to change the fireplace. For Lombardy, those who live in the Po Valley and have an old wood-burning fireplace are responsible for half of the total regional emissions of primary fine particles (PM10 - PM2.5). So: change it or destroy it. It is a wood-burning fireplace, but the door must always remain closed and the heat will come out through fans. The resulting atmosphere will be different: we will see how much...however we hope it will help against pollution!

Abbiamo dovuto cambiare il camino. Per la Lombardia, chi vive in Pianura Padana ed ha un vecchio camino a legna, è responsabile della metà delle emissioni totali regionali di polveri sottili primarie (PM10 - PM2.5). Quindi: cambiarlo o distruggerlo. E' un camino a legna, ma lo sportello dovrà rimanere sempre chiuso ed il calore uscirà tramite ventole. L'atmosfera che ne deriverà sarà diversa: vedremo quanto...comunque speriamo servirà contro l'inquinamento!
