Bees were busy in the sunshine

A sunny day, little wind but some cloud too.

This morning I made two savory loaves, one with marmite and cheese, the other cheese and apple, both tasted good.  Also spoke to friends on the phone, had coffee with S, put some bulbs and plants in pots and had lunch.
Sat in the garden this afternoon reading, then went for a short walk with S, came back had a cuppa and I took these photos.  The bees were buzzing round this salvia, the light was just right on the dahlia and I found two grasshoppers on the shed door.
