I'd gone to the Duthie Park today to see what photos I could take. Unfortunately when I got there I realised that my memory card wasn't working as it was saying write only. I think a bit of it had broken off in the PC yesterday. I did have my phone with me though and as it was really sunny the photos turned out fine.
I was sitting beside a wildlife pond in the sun and couldn't believe it when a what might be a brown darter dragonfly (or a random damselfly!) landed on the paving just across from me. I was able to walk over and take a photo with my phone right over it.
Later on in the day I went down to the plot and was delighted to see the woodpecker again in the tree opposite.
