This is the look I get whenever I leave. . .

It's not often I leave the pups at home, but when I do, this is what I face. He's gotten better though. He used to follow me down all the way down the stairs and try to sneak out the door to come with me. Now, I say "Stay" and he actually stays! What a good boy.
