Sleepy Joe's Cafe

Went for a ride in the car to blow away the cobwebs of last nights anniversary celebrations. Ended up in a little coffee shop in the village of Strathaven. Another chance to spend an afternoon with our daughter as we both live in areas that have localised restrictions. Currently we're not allowed in her house and she's not allowed in our house, however, we are allowed to meet in bars/restaurants as long as there are no more than six of us from two separate households, my head's "nippin" with these rules.

My album of the day is "Singles" by American synthpop band Future Islands. Bought the album after watching Samuel T Herring's intense performance on Later With Jools Holland. Energetic and upbeat but loses some intensity without visual performance and Herring throwing some shapes, probably better live than on CD.
