The Black Swan

Not a pub in Stenness but a bird that must have gone AWOL from some collection down south and made its way to Orkney years ago, and has been on the Loch of Harray ever since. It is very elegant. A grey day with not much bird activity, though masses of geese were very noisy in the distance. The extra is of a wheatear which is probably of the Greenland type, given the time of year.
