Fresh Air!

So good to be out in the fresh air after what seems like weeks of ministering to Mum.

She is however, a deal better, although with instructions not to get out of bed by herself yet.   We have got an amazing device which helps with lifting and moving plus other equipment to make carers' lives easier and also to allow one carer rather than two to attend.   More due tomorrow.   It has been exacerbated by one of her regular carers being away on holiday, but she, hopefully, will be back tomorrow and Andrea and I can go back to being daughters and do the good things with her.

After getting her up this morning I went for a walk along towards Lower Hopton, such a beautiful day, towards New Hall Community Orchard.   New saplings look to have been planted this year, and it looks to be a lovely place for a picnic, so next time I will take a packed lunch.   Main photo, nearby, of the beck running over steps.   In extras a Robin kindly posed for me, the wind ruffling his feathers.

On to Wheatley Park where there are some workplaces and a cafe (now only open Fri and Sat).   A stunning place to work.   Extras a lovely old cottage.
