Elderberry
SATURDAY
Whilst the rest of the country seemed to be basking in sunshine we had a dull wet start to the day.
I received a letter from the building society asking if I was still alive as they haven’t heard from me for 10 years. If prompted me to sort through stuff and spent a couple of hours trying to reduce a mountain of old papers in the study. We have a fast scanner that takes no time at all but the shredder is temperamental and works at snail pace.
Managed the usual walk (in reverse) late afternoon in order to post some letters and scrape in 10,000 steps.
