A fine day.

The weather has been splendid. Number two grandson did his first proper triathlon today over at Croyde....he had a stupendous race and came 5th overall which is amazing.  I admit to a tear on seeing him at the end and hearing the result.
He came 3rd in the (sea) swim, 45th in the cycling and 2nd in the run in the under 40's. He is only 18 so looking forward to doing this again next year and bettering his time. his Mum, sister and I went and watched, cheering him along when we could.
My main blip is of number one grand daughter and her other grandmother's dog - I just loved the high key shot so sadly Hamish has to go into extras. He said that was 'cool'.
