Tollesbury Dead Trees

I woke up at 4am so decided to  get in the car and visit Tollesbury (which also happens to be very near to my parents but I gave them a miss today as I should be seeing them soon anyway). I’ve wanted to photograph these trees a for a while now and my sun position app said it was rising in roughly the right place for what I wanted. Having had a coffee I left at 4.30am and arrived far too early but walked to the location and simply enjoyed the silence as it slowly got light. The sunrise was, again, a big disappointment photographically so I decided to play about with this one a bit, and I quite like the post-apocalyptic look!
