Perfume bottle

A backdated emergency blip as today was a busy day.  I started by getting up early to start on the cooking and was most surprised to find my daughter, her husband and son all up blowing up balloons and various other decoration they had put up in the kitchen and lounge.  Its my husbands birthday tomorrow and they wanted to surprise him.  Fortunately he got up a little later and was indeed very surprised but joined in with the fun.  We had our son in law's parents visiting as they are on holiday nearby and had decided to provide a lunchtime meal so lots of cooking was done beforehand.  It was good to catch up with them as we haven't met up since lockdown and fortunately the new limitation of numbers of people meeting together ie upto 6 people doesn't come into effect until Monday, although we were only 7 or maybe 8 if we include our grandson.

After the meal we all strolled down to the beach and our grandson enjoyed looking at the flags waving in the high street, the sound of the waves and all the beach activity.  He eventually had a nap in the pram and we headed back home.
