Shore

The day was hostage to the weather around here.

Wet and windy first thing. Then windy and very dark - as if rain could come any minute. This was quite a bit less than the forecast had promised. 

I had stuff to do in the house, so I just did it. 

About 4pm I decided a walk on the shore would be a good idea, hoping - as so often happens - the weather would be brighter down by the water and a few miles east. It was.

I enjoyed the walk. 

I am definitely on holiday for 10 days starting on Friday. I need it. I have had only 4 days since the beginning of April. The virus situation is getting worse around here, so that adds a layer of complexity to making plans.
