At 1.30 the BBC app forecast said sunny intervals and a gentle breeze. Strange because looking out of the window it was dull and wet. I left the house at 2 o’clock and headed uphill. The few sunny intervals were about a minute in total. I’ve spent a while trying to decide on a landscape shot that represented the weather but in the end opted for the highland cow which had found something tasty close to the fence. I was hoping his horns wouldn’t get trapped in the wire.

First extra is Nab Scar in the cloud beyond the barn. I spotted some interesting lichen (second extra) but didn’t have the right lens on the camera to do it justice.

Have back blipped yesterday.
