Iron Horse

Car commuters who pass alng the M8 motorway in the east end of Glasgow will be familiar with this amazing work of art. Andy Scott's sculpture depicts a Clydesdale heavy horse and is made from various thicknesses of galvanised steel rod.

You don't quick get a sense of the scale of it from this but it's almost 14 foot high (4.5 m) and is a really powerful piece. It's definitely one of my favourite works of public art.

Apparently, Scott has similar pieces in Australia (Bondi?) and Spain - anyone got blips of these?
