Wells Cathedral

Moving on from Dorset, but now on our journey home, we headed for Wells in Somerset. J had never been to the cathedral, so that's where we went. Parking and visiting was much easier than we had anticipated - perhaps because it was a Sunday - and we loved the place. I have been before but many, many years ago. The architecture is glorious and the city still maintains it's old centre - it seems to have escaped the developers' purge.

Now on a very quiet site - no sound from any traffic! Heading home tomorrow.
