Wild in the country

I've come of age

Actually, it was a couple of weeks ago, but I've finally got round to snapping my favourite reference. I first read these lines many years ago, around 1999 I think, and chuckled many times over the Baron and his vanity. And now I've reached my time when I can cheerfully say 'I'm past forty, you know', and my nearest and dearest can add the rest of the line. Tee hee. And what joys it brings - offers of vaccinations, and a bag for a small deposit sent through the post, and not of a monetary kind. But no bloody bus pass yet!
I've later translations, but this is the version I love the best!
