Stems Plus

A very tall flower on Union Street, late on a dark afternoon.  Rarely does one get such a good view of the underside. The two stems have gotten tangled at their top--I decided to let them be  :)  

Later we watched an epic men's final at the US tennis open: Dominic Thiem and Sascha Zverev battled for five sets and over four hours, ending in a tie-break. They embraced at the end--they've been friends since 2014.  It was Thiem's fourth Grand Slam final, and the first he has won.
