first rains

When it rains in NZ it does it big style. It rained all night and it was set for the day, so some people decided to brave packing up and headed for home early. We made a communal set up and hung out all day together, about 20 of us, singing, eating, playing games and being silly....it was great and it stopped in the evening for the dancing to start again. Lots of chai in the chill tent and squelching through the mud.
Yola gone feral and hanging out with her new friends, haven't seen her for several days, but well and happy (as reported by others)! No phone. no internet and we're all loving it! It so safe and lovely at this festival, not a pissed idiot in sight but everyone high on the atmosphere and the astonishing beautiful abundant nature on this mountain top.
