Goodbye Orchards

A fruit orchard in Kent being cleared to make way for cereal crop. It was saddening to walk through such a scene of devastation with uprooted trees lying ominously on their sides, giant log piles and the huge bonfire raining ash.

Tomorrow the damson orchard will be cleared. Being rather partial to damson jelly I may not be able to watch :(
