Honesty seeds ..

Lunaria (Honesty) is an old fashioned cottage garden plant, which gives an abundance of pretty pink flowers in the spring and then develops into the lovely translucent pods which contain the seeds.
Today, I’ve harvested some of the seeds to replant in the garden and have used the dried foliage as flower arrangements in a couple of vases. They’ll last throughout winter.

The extra picture is a very quick glimpse of an early morning visitor to the garden. We live near to a pheasant shoot and occasionally get an escapee. 

 I always cheer when one makes a bid for freedom!
