Full steam ahead!

Full steam looked to be about 7 mph. I was driving to mums for Sunday lunch there with my brother, who’s birthday it is tomorrow.

There were 5 steam rollers trundling along, spaced out over about a mile and each one with a stream of traffic behind them. I was cheerily waving at the steam rollers ... the people in the tailback behind them didn’t look so cheery ...

I passed them all again on the return journey, with more tailbacks of traffic behind. Once again I got to wave cheerily, and got a toot from one of the steamrollers this time. I’m easily recognised in Myfanwy!
