Beach photo shoot

Living in Portobello by the sea we never know what we will find on our next beach walk. At dawn the beach was overcast and the gloom set the tone for the start of the working week. My virtual calendar told me that today was a local holiday but it was clearly wrong as everyone was scooting to school as normal! (I think that holiday is next Monday?)
After a morning's desk work and T was in town meeting her elder sister we walked on the beach as the sun finally came out. Everyone was out enjoying the beach including this group using the beach as unique backdrop for their photoshoot. They kindly allowed me to take this photo without interrupting the flow of their photo narrative.
