Queen Victoria Fountain
With all the trouble about flags and statues Dun Laoghaire has its own story. The original fountain was erected to commemorate Queen Victoria's visit to Dun Laoghaire in 1900. It was vandalised in 1981 but was restored and reinstated by Heritage Engineering Ltd, Glasgow, the successors to the original manufacturers, Walter McFarland & Co. Ltd.
