The Cheviots

Our first day's outing was a walk straight from the cottage. We walked through beautiful woodland and along part of St Cuthbert's Way which led us to St Cuthbert's cave.

This view of The Cheviots was taken from the top of Greensheen Hill. The wind was bracing to say the least. In fact some of the gusts caught you quite off guard at times. But it was a warm wind with lots of sunshine, so no complaints there.
