Bales

It was another stormy night.  I woke about 4am, eventually got back to sleep only to be woken up again.  In the end I got up and read my book for a while, until I couldn’t keep my eyes open any longer and went back to bed and slept.  It was a grey old morning so I spent it in my pjs.  Pottering and baking – a fruit loaf and cheese and chive scones were produced. I then spent ages looking for a  photograph for TT.  He knew exactly what he was after, but I couldn’t find it.  Eventually he said he had seen it very recently.  That’s because it was on his laptop and he had it all the time – not me!
TT has spent most of the say working.  BB had his first football match since before lockdown.  I thought it was in Dunbar – it wasn’t, it was at home.  Just as well they told me as I dropped him off then headed to do a supermarket shop.  When I got back TT had prepared my lunch, which I was ready for.  I then headed out for a  walk.  The day had really improved and I was completely overdressed – remembering that I had dressed thinking I was going to be watching a football match on a  grey windy in windswept Dunbar!
TT rustled up a roast chicken dinner for tea – one of BB’s favourites.  Later I did my knee exercises.  They are not difficult, but I really feel them through my knee – so presume they will do it good, then watched some TV and BB did his homework.
I walked past this field of bales this afternoon, with views to the wind turbines in the Lammermuirs.
