Hiding in plain sight

S/he is hiding from me, but making quite a racket these recent days. Perhaps seeking a mate, which is going to be no small task as there are so few of them around.

Today was a very cloudy day and photos were not happening. Still, I have begun carrying the old knock around strapped around my wrist like an extra appendage again. Just on walks in the woods though.
