Galileo Would Be Shocked!

After my routine doctor appointment at TXO,  I came home with the idea that I would use the lovely  Galilean thermometer as my entry for Mono Monday's theme of "Up and Down" .  I had two problems once I dusted the thermometer off.  I wanted an uncluttered background and I needed more light.  So. I put the thermometer in the recliner and shot it with a flash.  I did not get the clean, uncluttered look that I was hoping for, but I find it interesting, so this is my entry for the day.  Thanks to SueJay for hosting!
