Bramley Baking Apples

When I went for some eggs to the farm, Dorothy the farmers wife gave me some baking apples, her tree is laden with them, so today I have been cooking them and freezing batches for future use.

It's been a lovely day  today but a bit too warm to go out into the garden to work.

One thing I noticed today.  When we first started lockdown last March, people I met when out with the dog walking all were cheerful and said good morning and kept the 2 meter distance, then when we came out of lockdown people stopped speaking and didn't observe the distance very often. Now we are back to semi lockdown I found this morning everyone I passed spoke and kept a good distance away. It's a funny old world.
