OUR NEIGHBORHOOD

This is a photo of our neighborhood.  Because of the close, dry vegetation there is always a fire threat.  In the Fall, with sustained 40 mph Santa Ana winds, and gusts up to 90mph,  that threat can become a reality in a matter of hours.   

At the moment we are fine.  The air is smokey and hazy.  But that's nothing in the scheme of things.  Our prayers are with those in Northern California, Oregon and Washington.
