Millstone Edge

We were supposed to be enjoying the French sunshine right now but as a small consolation the sunshine came to us, 25*C.  We decided to head into the Peak District for a walk. Driving through Bakewell it was busy with people (later realised it was market day) but up on the edges we were almost on our own. The closest we got was to the ice cream man on Surprise View car park and the bare footed climber in extra. The ice cream man reported a record busy day yesterday, so nice that our weekend can be Monday / Tuesday. The scenes are around Millstone edge looking towards Stanage edge. The flowering heather is unfortunately all but over but the blue skies all but make up.
