Bumper Crop!

After the excitement of a day away yesterday it was back home today, to catch up on things.

We took a walk around Wantage town in the afternoon, and had takeaway pizza with friends in the evening.

I remain in awe of people who can grow fruit in their garden.  We have an apple tree, but the apples themselves rot before they ripen.  I suspect the location in the shade of the neighbour's house does it no favours.  Even so this crop of pears in a smart local garden are impressive.
