Messing about on the river

except it was the Kennet and Avon canal at Bradford-on-Avon.  Five of us drove up to Bradford-on-Avon to have a pub lunch with an old friend who is just recovering from an accident.  She is getting on fine now and we had lunch right on the water's edge watching the narrow boats and waterfowl at the Lock Inn.  The weather was perfect and we had a wonderful day out (a second trip for me since the start of lockdown!).
