a painting by Jeffrey Pratt

it was lovely to hear from Jeffrey today. and to read the text in his book that goes with this painting.

Desperate to park and paint at Lulworth Cove I braved the barking dog and knocked on the front door of a beautiful house with these magnificent views.   “yes, bring your van in to our drive and paint for as long as you like!”  Mrs Kirk smilingly replied’, …and I stayed for four flat out painting days.  Pure heaven. 

I enjoyed this time too - Jeffrey was a delight to have around, and he produced lunchtime food, as did I, for sharing.  
But the real test, as always. is that the Radish was happy to have him about.
