Mermaid in a mask

We took a wee diversion on our bike ride this afternoon to pay a visit to the masked mermaid at Newhaven Harbour. By coincidence we bumped into our friend Luisa there. It's funny because the last time that we saw her was on Saturday when we were out running. These are the only two occasions that we have seen her in about 9 months. Of course, she now thinks that we are super fit...

Also today I have worked on my secret recreational project, played Carcassonne twice and won both times (with tutoring from you-know-who), and worked on the back garden.

Mr hazelh joined me for gardening duties. He moved lots of soil to contribute to the levelling the area that will eventually be lawn. Meanwhile I weeded, (re)planted, and created a bird bath. We also harvested our potatoes, which we ate with stuffed red peppers for dinner.

More worrying news re COVID19 :-(
