Timely arrival

Having finished a book on Sunday and barely started another which was not particularly engrossing, I was pleased that this arrived today. All 927 pages of it. That’s my reading sorted for a while.

It’s been a warm day today - fine if you could catch a breeze somewhere scenic but not great for a school full of young people who have to be outside in it for their breaks and lunches, accompanied by certain folk in high-vis. An early meeting, three lessons taught and one group of students supervised made up the day. And a bit of time at the end to get some things done. Hopefully all of that can be achieved tomorrow too but at a lower temperature.
